Well, they added yet another promising player with the recent call up of Heston Kjerstad. Kjerstad was the number two overall pick in the 2020 MLB entry draft. He can play 1st base and outfield and in the immediate will likely fill in for Ryan Mountcastle who is out day to day. Kjerstad should also be part of the outfield rotation which will allow the Orioles to give other outfielders such as Colton Cowser and Cedric Mullins valuable days off.

Kjerstad has been tearing up the minors this season hitting 10 home runs in just over 100 total plate appearances. The left swinging prospect has pure raw power, and I don’t anticipate he returns to the minors after this call up.
In my opinion, the Orioles are already the most exciting team to watch in all of baseball. The rich get richer!
