There is a full weekend of “Win or Go Home” football on tap this weekend. Let’s look at each of the matchups in the NFC:

Green Bay Packers @ Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are simply better in all phases of the game. However, the Packers do match up well defensively. Green Bay ranked in the Top 10 in total passing yards allowed this season. They will certainly look to lock down CeeDee Lamb who has been practically unstoppable. The Cowboys will still find a way to score, and Green Bay’s offense won’t be able to keep up. Cowboys win by a comfortable margin.

Los Angeles Rams @ Detroit Lions

This might be the most intriguing matchup in the Wild Card Round. Matt Stafford spent 12 years in Detroit trying to bring the Lions franchise to relevance. Now, he has a chance to knock his former team out of the playoffs. The Rams have an explosive passing game with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Detroit counters with a defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in passing yards allowed. Expect Matt Stafford to break the hearts of Lions fans – The Rams take this one.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Eagles are stumbling into the playoffs having lost 5 of their last 6 games. This game all boils down to which Philadelphia team shows up. Is it the Eagles team that earlier in the year looked unbeatable? Or is it the team as of late that looks very average. I think the Eagles put it all back together and take care of the Buccaneers rather decisively.
