We have already looked at the longest championship droughts in the NBA, NHL, and MLB. Now we turn our attention to the longest droughts in the NFL. These teams have been in the league a long time but have never won the last game of the season.
Detroit Lions (90-94 years): Depending on how you look at it, the Lions technically joined the NFL in 1930 as the Portsmouth Spartans but became the Detroit Lions in 1934. The Lions have never even been to a Super Bowl. They have the opportunity to change that this weekend as they take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Conference Finals. I think I speak for most football fans when I say that we are rooting for them!

Cleveland Browns (74 years): The Browns became an official NFL team in 1950, and along with the worst uniforms and helmets in the league, have never won a championship. No, we aren’t counting those Baltimore Ravens Super Bowls either!
